Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in
Java, Spring Boot, and Angular 8+ to join a high-performing product engineering team supporting enterprise payment platform initiatives within the financial services domain.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience developing scalable enterprise applications, RESTful APIs, and modern front-end solutions while working within Agile product-centric environments. This role requires strong backend integration experience, database expertise, API development, and familiarity with modern DevOps and automation tools.

Candidates with experience in
Capital Markets, Payments Processing, Freddie Mac, or Fannie Mae environments will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and design next-generation payment platform solutions.
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs, backend integrations, and enterprise-grade web applications.
Develop responsive front-end user interfaces using Angular 8+ and modern UI development practices.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions under tight deadlines.
Analyze application performance and identify opportunities for optimization and scalability improvements.
Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and enhancement requests for business-critical applications.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Implement unit testing and automation frameworks to ensure code quality and application reliability.
Contribute to CI/CD processes and DevOps best practices for streamlined software delivery.
Utilize modern AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services.
Hands-on experience developing front-end applications using Angular 8+.
Strong backend development experience including:
- REST APIs
- Application integrations
- Database development
- Security implementation
Experience working with relational databases such as:
- Sybase
- SQL Server
- MySQL
- DB2
Strong experience with development and deployment tools including:
- Git
- Gradle
- Docker
- Jenkins
- Eclipse
Experience developing and executing JUnit test cases using Mockito framework.
Experience with automation testing tools such as FitNesse.
Hands-on experience working in Agile product-centric development environments.
Familiarity with GenAI development tools including:
- GitHub Copilot
- LLMs
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Agentic AI concepts
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
