Iris's direct client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada, is looking to hire a Full Stack Developer – Java / Node.js / TypeScript for a long-term opportunity at Calgary, AB (Hybrid Position).

Bank is serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.
Position: Full Stack Developer – Java / Node.js / TypeScript
Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid Role – 3-4 Days in Office/week)
Duration: Long-Term Open-Ended Contract
Looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong Java expertise and hands-on full stack experience in Node.js and/or TypeScript. The role supports a long-term enterprise initiative involving modern microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native development.
Must have:
- 7+ years of software development experience with strong Java expertise
- Full stack experience with Node.js and/or TypeScript
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Exposure to MongoDB
- Experience with Angular preferred
Nice to have:
- Kafka or event-driven architecture
- Cloud platform experience
- Exposure to Spring Boot and distributed systems
