JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a full-stack developer - Java, NodeJS, SQL, and NoSQL- to Design and implement components of an enterprise-scale ASPM. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada. Location
Hybrid (Downtown, Toronto) Duration
6 months Typical Day in role
Full Stack Development: Develop back-end and front-end components that integrate various security tools into a single pane of glass for developers and security practitioners. Data Modeling and Design: Work towards a unified data model/data warehouse that provide tool-agnostic views into vulnerability data obtained from disparate tools. Cloud Deployment: Deploy to cloud sandbox and UAT environments as part of the SDLC used to develop the solution. Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to identify requirements and existing processes, designing solutions that improve the efficiency and user experience of developers and security practitioners. Security: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards to protect the integrity and confidentiality of our systems and data. Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce latency, and optimize resource usage. Disaster Recovery: Design and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity and data integrity in case of system failures or other unforeseen events. Must-Have Skills
Strong complex problem-solving skills. 10+ years of full stack development experience(Java, NodeJS, SQL, noSQL) 5+ Cloud and Containerized development experience 5+ years Agile and SDLC experience Cloud solution deployment experience (GCP, Azure) Docker containers Kubernetes Nice-To-Have Skills
Active Directory / Entra ID integrations focusing on SSO. Experience with Application Security Tools (Checkmarx, Snyk, Wiz) AI Agentic experience (MCPs, Agents, Skills, RAG) Soft Skills Required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to devise innovative solutions to complex technical challenges. Strong communication skills - written & oral Strong collaborator, team player Education
