Role: Full Stack Developer
Location: 100% Remote
Job Description:
We are looking for a high-impact Fullstack Developer to drive the development, maintenance, and architectural evolution of the Vantage ecosystem (Dispatch, Workforce Safety, and Issue Management). You will provide technical leadership to a distributed team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality full-stack applications that meet Google's rigorous engineering standards. You are accountable for the end-to-end success of the project, from initial system design to final production deployments and operational support.
Key Accountabilities Technical Ownership:
Accountable for technical decisions, clearing blockers, and maintaining the overall quality, stability, and scalability of the Vantage suite.
Project Delivery: Ensures project milestones and SOW deliverables are completed on time, following Google development guidelines.
Engineering Excellence: Drives the adoption of best practices, including writing clean, modular, self-sustaining code and ensuring high test coverage.
Core Responsibilities
Full-Stack Development & Architecture: Lead web development using Angular/TypeScript and backend development using Java, utilizing internal Google libraries and frameworks.
Framework & API Design: Design, develop, and enhance APIs to extend existing capabilities; provide support for internal service frameworks such as BOQ and POD.
Project Partnership: Work closely with Google to create detailed technical design docs, and provide accurate assessments of task sizes and timelines.
Quality Assurance: Triage bugs, assist in TDD creation, and perform software analysis to resolve backlog items and improve code quality.
Operational Support: Oversee the creation of training materials and support customer onboarding to ensure smooth solution adoption.
Qualifications & Skills
o Experience with Angular and RxJS.
o Strong proficiency in Java and backend service architecture.
