Full Stack Developer

Junior/Mid Full Stack Developer – Permanent Full Time! $80K-$100K base + super maximum

Full Stack Developer | Melbourne CBD | Hybrid Working 2-3 days per week in the office (Southbank Location)

Role Summary

Our client is looking for a Full Stack Developer who enjoys solving complex problems and delivering high-quality software. This is a hands‑on position focused on both building solutions and supporting team growth. You’ll spend most of your time developing applications across the stack, with a portion dedicated to mentoring and collaborating with peers.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development (Primary Focus)

• Design and implement end-to-end solutions using modern cloud technologies
• Build and maintain APIs and backend services with Node.js
• Develop user-facing interfaces using React and React Native
• Configure and manage containers and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Work with both relational and NoSQL databases
• Automate deployment pipelines and apply DevOps practices

Team Collaboration (Secondary Focus)

• Participate in code reviews and pair programming
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers
• Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Share best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full stack development experience
• Proficiency in:
• Backend: Node.js and frameworks like Express or NestJS
• Cloud: Azure (or other cloud platforms), Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code
• Databases: SQL and NoSQL systems
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
