Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer with over 10 years of experience to lead the modernization of legacy Java applications into modular, cloud-ready Spring Boot microservices. This role involves developing scalable web applications with a focus on both backend API design and front-end user experiences using React, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. The developer will handle database optimization, CI/CD deployment, and ensure the delivery of clean, maintainable, and production-grade solutions aligned with business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Refactor legacy Java applications into modular Spring Boot microservices.
- Build responsive front-end components using React and Bootstrap.
- Design secure RESTful APIs and perform database schema changes and performance tuning, preferably with Oracle databases.
- Translate complex business requirements into maintainable technical implementations.
- Conduct developer-level testing using JUnit, Mockito, and React Testing Library to ensure system reliability.
- Manage application builds and deploy software through CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide post-launch operational support and balance feature development with ongoing system modernization.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- 10+ years of experience with Java (core and modern versions).
- 7+ years of experience in system refactoring and monolith modernization.
- 7+ years of experience with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
- 7+ years of experience with relational databases and data analysis.
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and React.
- 5+ years of experience with CSS and Bootstrap.
- 5+ years of experience in RESTful API development.
- 5+ years of experience in developer testing using JUnit, Mockito, and React Testing Library.
- 5+ years of experience with software deployment and CI/CD tooling.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Active LinkedIn profile required for application.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- 7+ years of experience with Oracle Database management and SQL optimization.
Special Considerations:
- Hybrid work environment requiring 3 days onsite per week.
