Full Stack Developer (React/CSS/AWS)
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Full Stack Developer on a contract basis to join our engineering team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in architecting, building, and maintaining high-impact cross-platform web and mobile applications powering our expanding global platform. We are looking for someone with deep expertise in modern software engineering—specifically within the Expo, React, TypeScript, and Node.js ecosystems—who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering clean, scalable, and supportable code.
Serve as an integral full-stack contributor across solution design, cross-platform (web and mobile) application development, API integrations, and release management. Build responsive, performant user interfaces using Expo, React / React Native, TypeScript, and NativeWind (Tailwind CSS v3). Collaborate closely with the Engineering Team Lead and product teams to ensure proper application of coding standards and maintainable architecture. Develop and maintain robust backend services and microservices using Node.js. Build and optimize third-party API integrations, data synchronization pipelines, and webhooks. Participate actively in daily standups, backlog refinement, and technical planning to turn requirements into scalable deliverables.
5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience. Strong proficiency in Expo & TypeScript for building universal web and mobile applications from a unified codebase. Solid experience with Node.js and React / React Native ecosystem. Hands-on experience styling applications using NativeWind (v4) / Tailwind CSS (v3). Proven track record building, testing, and deploying cross-platform applications across Web, iOS, and Android. Solid experience with key AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, ECS, CloudWatch). Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, RESTful APIs, and Agile/Scrum practices. Ability to work independently as a contractor while integrating seamlessly into team workflows.
SkySlope API Experience: Hands-on experience working with or integrating SkySlope APIs is highly desirable. Familiarity with event-driven architecture and integrations using REST and Kafka. Experience working in a microservices landscape. Background with internationally deployed or scalable cloud applications.
