Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team driving Financial Center modernization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Angular, Java/Spring Boot microservices, and modern front-end engineering and a proven ability to design, build, and release secure, scalable applications across desktop and tablet channels. You will collaborate with scrum teams and stakeholders to improve code quality, oversee releases, and deliver production-ready solutions aligned to design specifications.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain Angular X front-end applications and Java/Spring Boot microservices.
* Apply industry-accepted coding practices, conduct code reviews, and improve application code quality.
* Oversee and participate in release activities, ensuring secure and compliant deployments.
* Analyze, design, and implement solutions, including proof of concepts for emerging technologies.
* Troubleshoot system-wide issues and collaborate across teams to resolve defects and performance bottlenecks.
* Document and communicate findings and options to technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* 5-7 years of professional software development experience.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* UI: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Angular X, Handlebars, Node/NPM.
* Services: Java, Spring Boot microservices, Spring.
* Security and authentication, Hibernate/JPA.
* Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine.
* Platform/tools: SVN, Bitbucket, Jira, containers, Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, Splunk, Apache Tomcat, Autosys.
* Persistence: Oracle, caching.
* Experience in Agile Scrum and Scaled Agile environments.
* Packaging and deploying services via WAR files, RESTful and SOAP integrations, experience with large codebases, Eclipse and VS Code IDEs.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with continuous integration and unit testing.
* OpenShift container knowledge and solid understanding of containerization.
* Ability to perform in a fast-paced, team-based environment with strong communication skills.
Work Arrangements & Process Details
* Hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days onsite per week in Charlotte, NC.
* Start month: September, firm timeline.
* Interview process: 1-2 in-person rounds. Glider ID verification required.
* Potential contract-to-hire. Candidates must not require sponsorship now or in the future.
