Senior Full Stack Developer (React & Node.js)

My client is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who wants to do more than just write code. You'll play a key role in influencing technical decisions, mentoring developers, and building scalable applications within a growing engineering team
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Building modern, responsive user interfaces with React
- Working with PostgreSQL in a production environment
- Contributing to architectural, scalability, and security decisions
- Implementing automated testing and promoting best engineering practices
- Collaborating within a high-performing Agile/Scrum team
- Driving continuous improvements across processes and development standards
- Mentoring and supporting other developers within the team
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years experience delivering complex application-based software solutions
- Strong commercial experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL
- Experience leading development teams and coaching engineers
- Strong capabilities across coding, testing, debugging, and software design
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments, including technical leadership responsibilities
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerised applications
- Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS and/or Azure
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks
- Fluent Dutch language skills (C2 level or equivalent)
Candidates must be fluent in Dutch and able to work onsite from the Antwerp office on a regular basis.
