Role
The Senior Full Stack Developer will design, build, test, and deploy modern cloud-native full-stack applications and digital products that deliver measurable business value. The role emphasizes AI-assisted development practices, enterprise engineering standards, technical leadership, and collaboration with product, architecture, and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy modern full-stack applications, APIs, and integrations.
- Build scalable cloud-native solutions using web, mobile, API, and integration technologies.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools, generative AI, code assistants, and agentic workflows to accelerate prototyping and delivery (“Vibe Coding”).
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, maintainable solutions and perform code reviews to enforce enterprise standards.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor developers, lead architecture discussions, and promote reusable components and platform standards.
- Support production applications: resolve incidents, monitor reliability and performance, and participate in CI/CD and DevOps improvements.
- Provide solution estimates, identify risks and dependencies, and report progress.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years designing, developing, and delivering enterprise software solutions; 5+ years building modern web applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience in Agile product delivery environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure).
- Core technical skills: modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React or similar), backend development (.NET/C#, Node.js or comparable), SQL and modern data platforms, RESTful APIs and enterprise integration.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures (microservices, event-driven), observability, monitoring, performance optimization, CI/CD, IaC, containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), DevSecOps and SRE principles.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools, prompt engineering, agentic development workflows, and rapid AI-enabled prototyping.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, and product mindset.
Preferred
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Devin or similar AI development platforms.
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Semantic Kernel, LangChain or comparable AI frameworks and services.
- Experience with observability/monitoring platforms and cloud-native deployment models.
Location & Work Model
Hybrid role (2–3 days per week in office) reporting to the Solutions Delivery Lead in Surrey or Edmonton.
Competitive compensation: $120,000 – $130,000 base, plus bonus and medical benefits. Additional benefits include career progression opportunities and a collaborative team environment.
