Position Summary

Full‑Stack Software Engineer based in Madrid, Spain joining the IFX team that develops Jet Aviation’s In‑Flight Entertainment (IFE) system. The role focuses on delivering clean, testable, and maintainable software across the full stack, with a strong emphasis on Clean Architecture, CQRS, Event Sourcing, and Test‑Driven Development.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain front‑end applications using modern frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
  • Design and implement scalable, object‑oriented back‑end services in C#, Java, Python, or a comparable language.
  • Apply Clean Architecture, CQRS, and Event Sourcing to build modular systems.
  • Practice Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and contribute to automated testing strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Basel–based IFX team and UX/UI designers to deliver performant, accessible applications.
  • Engage in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision‑making.
  • Integrate software with IoT devices, real‑time data streams, and external systems when appropriate.
  • Maintain technical documentation and uphold coding standards.

Who You Are

  • Full‑stack developer with a genuine interest in software best practices and craftsmanship.
  • Foundational knowledge of TDD, with hands‑on practice as a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of Clean Architecture.
  • Practical knowledge of CQRS.
  • Practical knowledge of Event Sourcing.
  • Strong object‑oriented programming skills, proficient in at least one OOP language (C#, Java, Python, or similar).
  • Proficiency with a modern front‑end framework (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
  • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish (B2 level or higher).
