Job Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core platform features: the draft/branching content system, S3-backed publish pipeline, and multi-tenant content editor — including drag-and-drop block reordering and layout composition for non-technical users
• Design and implement NestJS modules and PostgreSQL schemas that scale across our Free, Intermediate, and Advance subscription tiers
• Contribute to AI-assisted features (AWS Bedrock site generation, in-product chat assistance) with human-review gates baked into every workflow
• Write and maintain automated test coverage (Jest, Supertest, Playwright) and contribute to our GitLab CI pipelines
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PM, UX, Security, DevOps, and Architecture peers — we run structured six-lens reviews on every major feature decision

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript/Node.js experience; familiarity with NestJS or comparable framework (Express, Fastify) and willingness to ramp up quickly
• Strong Reactjs experience
• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) — schema design, migrations, query performance
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS (S3, CloudFront, Lambda)
• Comfortable writing and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration, e2e)
• Able to design comprehensive test cases to verify new features
• Strong written communication — you'll be working with non-technical stakeholders and writing specs/ADRs

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture and tenant data isolation patterns
• Familiarity with content versioning/diffing approaches (e.g. JSON patch, OT/CRDT concepts)
• Exposure to IAM/RBAC systems
• Interest or experience in applying LLMs/AI agents within production systems, with appropriate guardrails
