Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join the Connected Commerce Technology team within the Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Payments domain. This role is primarily focused on modernizing a monolithic application into a microservices-based architecture, with a strong emphasis on front-end development.

This is an 80% Front-End / 20% Back-End role where you'll work closely with UX, product, and engineering teams to build secure, scalable, and high-performing web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build secure, high-quality production code and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Contribute to the migration from a monolithic application to a microservices-based architecture.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Design, ADA, Analytics, and Engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain automation test suites using Playwright and Selenium.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to software design decisions.
• Follow TDD practices and write JUnit test cases using mocking frameworks.
• Improve application performance, code quality, and system architecture.
• Leverage AI development tools to improve engineering productivity.

Must Have

• 3+ years of Full Stack development experience.
• Strong experience with React.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with Playwright and Selenium automation.
• Front-end web development expertise (80% Front-End / 20% Back-End).
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of TDD, JUnit, and mocking frameworks.
• Experience with Webpack, Rollup, and version control systems.
• Familiarity with AI development tools.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• AWS experience or knowledge.
• Banking or Payments domain experience.
• Experience with ADA compliance, UI Design Systems, Cypress, or Content Management Systems.
