We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer with 3–6 years of professional experience and hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular to join our development team.
The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing, maintenance, and support of scalable web applications across both backend and frontend layers. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional and product teams, providing Angular technical support, and contributing to engineering standards and best practices.
This role is ideal for a developer who has a solid foundation in full-stack development and is motivated to grow into a strong, technically versatile Full Stack Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend REST APIs using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
- Design and develop responsive and reusable UI components using Angular.
- Develop and maintain reusable Angular components, Schematics, and shared UI libraries.
- Work with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL
- Provide Angular technical support and guidance to other product teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, secure, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
- Define, document, and promote Angular development best practices across teams.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across frontend and backend layers.
- Write unit and integration tests and contribute to improving application quality.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build processes, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Architecture, and other engineering teams in an Agile environment.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt suitable development practices, tools, and technologies.
Required Skills
Backend Development
- Strong fundamentals in Core Java.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Good understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Basic understanding of Microservices architecture and principles.
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate.
- Understanding of exception handling, logging, and application configuration.
Frontend Development
- Hands-on experience with Angular, preferably Angular 10 or later.
- Experience with Angular Schematics and reusable component development.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience developing and maintaining shared Angular UI libraries/components.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of RxJS and reactive programming.
- Ability to define and document Angular coding and development standards.
Database
- Good knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
- Basic understanding of query performance and optimization.
Tools & Engineering Practices
- Hands-on experience with Git and version control practices.
- Good understanding of Maven or Gradle.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.
Preferred / Good to Have
- Experience working in a Microservices-based environment.
- Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Experience supporting or contributing to shared development frameworks, libraries, or engineering standards.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple product teams.
