What you'll do
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality and ensure seamless integration with back-end services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in software development.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality standards and mentor junior developers in coding techniques and problem-solving.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a smooth user experience across various devices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements into our development processes.
- Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
- Engage in user testing and feedback sessions to refine product features and improve user satisfaction.
- Document development processes, code changes, and system architecture to maintain clear communication within the team.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby, and experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js for front-end development.
- Solid understanding of server-side technologies, including Node.js, Express, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with database management systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, and familiarity with ORM tools.
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, and experience with collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and managing applications.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies, including unit testing and integration testing.
- Previous experience in a startup environment or working with Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of security best practices in web application development.
