Job Description

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using modern full‑stack technologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement software solutions.
• Ensure optimal performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.
• Write clean, well‑documented, and reusable code.
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Contribute to the development of technical specifications and project documentation.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies to enhance project outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Full Stack Developer should have:

• Proven experience in full stack development, including both front‑end and back‑end technologies.
• Strong proficiency in React (with Hooks), TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind or similar.
• Hands‑on experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, including designing and debugging integrations.
• Cloud platform expertise, particularly with AWS services like Amplify (DataStore, GraphQL, Auth), DynamoDB, Lambda, and S3.
• Solid understanding of database management, schema design, and performance optimisation in NoSQL environments.
• Proficiency in Git and version control workflows, including code reviews and collaborative development.
• Experience with testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing in React/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, such as Amplify Console or GitHub Actions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
• Previous experience in the public sector or similar industries (desirable but not essential).
