Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on backend development using Java Spring Boot APIs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building robust, scalable, and high-performance applications, along with a strong understanding of full stack development principles. This role is fully remote, offering flexibility while collaborating with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Develop unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability, leveraging tools like Bruno or other testing frameworks.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain coding standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements, particularly in the insurance domain, and translate them into technical solutions.
Maintain thorough documentation of APIs, modules, and development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
Proficiency in unit testing frameworks and Bruno or similar testing tools for backend development.
Experience with front-end technologies (optional but beneficial) such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Angular/React.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.

Preferred/Desirable:

Prior experience in the insurance domain or familiarity with insurance business processes.
Knowledge of database design, SQL, and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate).
Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or microservices architecture.
