Full Stack Developer

Hexwired has partnered with a company who are an AI Start up and are already excelling in their field. They are looking for a Full Stack Engineer who will own how the company systems behave in desktop environments, within their production desktop applications.
The main responsibilities for the Full Stack Engineer are to build and maintain cross-platform desktop applications using Electron whilst designing responsive and scalable UIs for real-time collaboration.
Key skills required for this role:
* Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or another related field from a Russell group university
* Proven software engineering experience with hands-on development of production-grade Electron desktop applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and React (or similar UI frameworks).
* Strong understanding of the desktop application lifecycle, including IPC communication, local data storage (SQLite, IndexedDB, filesystem), and real-time communication using WebSockets or similar technologies.
* Excellent debugging and performance profiling skills, with familiarity with native operating system behaviours on macOS and/or Windows.

The salary for this Full Stack Engineer role will be up to £150,000. The company is rapidly expanding and are at the forefront of their industry.
