For the office of adesso Spain, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our international team, with strong problem-solving skills, a solid background in enterprise application design and a proactive approach to collaboration with stakeholders. The candidate will join the client project development team with the main mission of designing, developing and maintaining robust, secure and scalable web applications, ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end components and leveraging AI technologies as a key accelerator throughout the development lifecycle. This position involves collaborating with international teams, including business trips to Germany every 3 months. The role can be performed in a hybrid model from our office/client site in Barcelona or in remote mode from other locations in Spain.
What You’ll Do
- Build and evolve end-to-end web applications, taking care of both frontend and backend.
- Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and high-performing.
- Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams to understand business needs and turn them into technical solutions.
- Review code, maintain high technical standards, and support troubleshooting and incident resolution.
- Use AI-based coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code or similar) as part of your daily workflow to speed up development, testing, and documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Solid experience (+6 years) working as a Full-stack Developer.
- Strong skills with at least one modern frontend framework (Angular, React or Vue.js).
- Hands‑on experience building backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
- Practical knowledge of designing and implementing REST APIs.
- Experience with Git and working in Agile environments.
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
Nice To Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Background in enterprise application design and architectural patterns.
- Experience integrating AI-based components or services into real-world applications.
