Who are we?

We're Cielo Costa – 30 people across the UK, Pakistan, India, Tunisia, and the Philippines. We call ourselves Coasties which means we are a tight-knit team working together to bring value to our clients.

Technical excellence is a non-negotiable, but so is being human, which means collaborating with team mates and approaching our work with warmth and humour. We already have Coasties in Islamabad and Karachi, and remote-first is how we roll.

The Role

Conforme is our compliance and assurance product for regulated industries. We're looking for a senior full stack developer who thinks like a product person, takes testing seriously, and knows how to get the best out of AI tooling and shares that with the team.

• Building and enhancing features on a MERN stack

• Writing unit tests and helping us build them as a team habit.

• Using Cursor and other AI tools daily - critically, not blindly and as a colleague rather than a tool.

• Sharing what you learn about AI-assisted development with the team.

• Contributing to code reviews and development standards

• Collaborating actively across a distributed team

• 6+ years with MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js - good knowledge of typescript/ Javascript

• Product instincts and experience - you've cared about users, product adoption and the roadmap, not just delivery. You think about the intention of the feature not just that it functions.

• Strong unit testing practice

• Daily hands-on use of Cursor or similar AI coding tools

• A habit of interrogating AI output, not just accepting it

• Energy for collaboration and a track record of bringing others along and sharing what you're learning.

• Team development - mentoring, feedback, helping others grow.

• Great communication skills in English.
