Senior Full-Stack Developer – .NET Core, C#, Python & SSAS – Financial Reporting & Analytics - 7095

Location: Toronto, Hybrid (3x/week)

Duration: 5 Months (Will extend)

Overview

Design, develop, and modernize full-stack financial reporting and analytics applications, including backend services, APIs, data integration components, and web-based user interfaces. Build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using .NET/.NET Core, C#, SQL, Python, and modern development practices.
Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technology teams to clarify financial reporting requirements, document business logic, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Support modernization of SSAS multidimensional and OLAP-based financial reporting solutions, including cubes, measures, hierarchies, semantic layers, and related business logic. Help evolve existing reporting capabilities into more scalable, maintainable, and cloud-enabled architectures.

Must Haves

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on software design and development experience, including substantial expertise with the following:
NET, .NET Core
C#, SQL, Python
Experience designing and developing APIs, backend services, and data-driven application components
Experience with SSAS multidimensional models, MDX, OLAP concepts, cubes, measures, hierarchies, and financial analytics
Experience working with relational and analytical data platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or similar platforms
Multi-threaded programming
Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Key Vault
Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent coding agents
Experience translating business requirements and reporting logic into technical solutions

Nice to Have

Front-end frameworks such as React and/or Angular
CI/CD tools such as CloudBees, Jenkins, UrbanCode, or similar platforms
Demonstrated experience with large-scale, high-performance enterprise systems
Experience integrating applications with analytical engines, calculation services, or high-performance query platforms using APIs
Experience modernizing financial reporting, OLAP, cube-based, or data-driven enterprise applications
