About the role
As a Senior Full Stack Developer , you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting scalable web applications and cloud-based solutions that drive business outcomes. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, DevOps teams, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using .NET technologies and React.
- Build and optimize scalable backend services, APIs, and database solutions using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and application enhancements.
- Perform software testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, and quality assurance activities to ensure reliable and high-performing applications.
- Leverage modern DevOps and cloud technologies to support continuous integration, deployment, and application lifecycle management.
Work model

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days per week in a Cognizant office. What you need to have to be considered
- Strong experience developing applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, or .NET Core).
- Proven hands-on experience with React and modern frontend development practices.
- Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar database technologies.
- Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, and Artifactory in enterprise development environments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services, including Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle Cloud.
- Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, or similar data platform technologies.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), unit testing, quality assurance, and application support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Compensation
The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 , depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, subject to performance and applicable plan terms.
