*Full Stack Developer / Python | Global Hedge Fund | Hong Kong
My client, a leading global investment firm , is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (Python) to join its growing Finance Technology team in Asia.
This is a rare opportunity to become one of the first dedicated technology hires supporting APAC finance functions, giving the successful candidate significant ownership, visibility, and influence from day one. Working directly with regional business stakeholders, this individual will play a key role in shaping and building the next generation of finance applications, reporting platforms, and data-driven tools that support a rapidly expanding global organization.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full stack applications using React and Python (bonus if you have exp. with Dash)
- Develop APIs and backend services
- Work with databases and data platforms including Snowflake and AWS RDS
- Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to solve business problems
- Debug and optimize systems across frontend, backend, and data layers
- Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code
- Take ownership of projects and deliver features end-to-end
Requirements
- 5+ years of full stack development experience
- Strong Python and React skills
- Experience building tools for finance functions such as P&L, reporting, accounting, or dashboards
- Tech stack includes (but not limited to): Python / Javascript / Rest APIs / SQL / Snowflake / AWS RDS / Postgres / MySQL / Cloud tech / AI or LLMs interest
