Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team and help build scalable, high-quality web applications. This role requires strong expertise across both frontend and backend development, with a focus on React, TypeScript, and C#/.NET. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver robust solutions while contributing to technical architecture, code quality, and engineering best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using React, TypeScript, and C#/.NET.
Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences.
Develop and maintain APIs, backend services, and database solutions.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following development best practices.
Perform code reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering team.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across frontend and backend systems.
Contribute to application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and development practices.
Key Qualifications
Required
5+ years of experience shipping production software as a Full Stack Engineer, with strong frontend and backend expertise.
Deep experience with React and TypeScript (strict mode), including generics, discriminated unions, hooks, and modern development patterns.
Strong experience with C#/.NET, including minimal APIs, async/await, Entity Framework Core (or equivalent ORM), and recent .NET versions.
Strong RDBMS experience, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design, complex queries, and database migrations.
Experience designing and maintaining APIs, particularly REST services, with an understanding of service contracts and integration best practices.
Solid understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA, ARIA, keyboard navigation, and screen reader testing.
Strong testing discipline with experience across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
Based in Australia with full working rights.
Nice to Have
Experience building or contributing to design systems, including tokens, primitives, theming, and versioning.
Experience developing canvas-based, drag-and-drop, or visual editor interfaces using tools such as React Flow, xyflow, or dnd-kit.
Experience building real-time applications using SignalR, WebSockets, or similar technologies.
Exposure to workflow or rules engines such as Elsa or Flowable.
Experience working with event-driven architectures using RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.
Experience working within Kubernetes and Helm environments.
Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot beyond basic autocomplete.
