Advance Thinking is partnering with a global leader in sustainable agriculture and food production to appoint a Full Stack Developer who will join a dynamic sustainment team supporting mission‑critical enterprise applications used across Australia.

This organisation is one of the world’s largest agricultural providers, with more than 1,600 retail outlets across Australia, North America, and South America, backed by deep expertise across precision farming, livestock, water, finance, insurance, and rural services. Their technology plays a central role in supporting farmers and feeding communities globally.

This role is ideal for a software engineer who enjoys meaningful ownership across enhancement, support, architecture uplift, and collaboration with global teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

Software Engineering & Application Delivery

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable and efficient software solutions aligned to business requirements and engineering best practices
• Building responsive React frontends, delivering clean, component‑based UI architecture
• Developing modern backend services using .NET / .NET Core, including API design and performance optimisation
• Working with AWS serverless and cloud technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and microservice‑based architectures
• Providing ongoing product support, troubleshooting issues, resolving incidents, and implementing enhancements driven by user feedback
• Ensuring system reliability, stability, and security across a suite of custom enterprise applications
• Conducting in‑depth analysis to identify areas for improvement, innovation, and technical uplift

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Partnering with business stakeholders, product owners, and operations teams to clarify requirements and align expectations
• Working closely with offshore development teams (North America & India) to share knowledge, align goals, and ensure smooth collaboration across time zones

Leadership, Quality & Best Practice

• Conducting thorough code reviews focused on maintainability, scalability, and coding standards
• Providing constructive feedback and approving pull requests
• Serving as a technical leader within the team—mentoring junior engineers, guiding best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years full‑stack engineering experience
• Strong React.js + .NET / .NET Core expertise
• Solid understanding of REST, authentication/authorization, and web application security
• Experience working in distributed teams, including offshore collaboration
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Confident communicator across technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in a sustainment + enhancement environment where ownership matters
