Our client is seeking an Expert Level Full Stack Developer to join a high-impact DevOps team at the Group IT Hub South Africa, delivering IT solutions to the global Group.

They are equally strong on the frontend (Angular, NGRX) and backend (Nest.js, GraphQL), with deep cloud fluency across AWS and Azure. What sets them apart is their ability to lead other team leaders, navigate complex multi-system problems, and deliver innovative solutions where no senior authority exists to defer to.

This person thrives in globally distributed Agile teams, communicates confidently at all levels, and brings a genuine passion for automotive technology, data platforms, and AI-driven analysis tools.

Full Stack Mastery: Industry-leading expertise in Angular and Nest.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and AWS/Azure cloud services, delivering data-rich, high-performance applications for a global automotive analysis platform.

Technical Leadership: 10+ years of development experience, representing best practice at a product level, leading team leaders, resolving complex escalated issues, and driving architectural decisions across the EFACT platform.

Global Delivery: Build scalable, secure, and high-quality cloud applications across Azure and AWS environments, ensuring stability through CI/CD pipelines, production reliability, and DevOps best practices within an Agile framework.

• Degree in IT or equivalent relevant experience
• Qualification / Certification in front-end and backend development technologies
• Minimum 10+ years of professional Development Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development: Lead strong frontend development using Angular, TypeScript, AG Grid, NGRX, and chart.js
• Backend Development: Build and maintain backend services using Nest.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL
• Cloud Engineering: Build, deploy, and scale cloud applications across AWS and Azure with a focus on performance and security
• Data Integration: Work with AWS SDK services (S3, Athena) and MongoDB including schema design and ATLAS Search integration
• Authentication: Implement and manage authentication and authorization using LDAP
• Workflow Management: Work with orchestration and monitoring tools including Airflow, Grafana, and ArgoCD
• DevOps: Maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Dependabot, ESLint, SonarCube, and NX
• Architecture: Drive architectural decisions and represent best practice at product level
• Code Quality: Lead code reviews to ensure maintainability and adherence to best practices
• Documentation: Document system designs and key technical details
• Agile Participation: Actively participate in ceremonies - daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives
• Leadership: Lead team leaders and resolve complex escalated issues that require deep product knowledge
• Coaching: Mentor and train fellow colleagues and users when required
