The ideal candidate has hands-on understanding of microservices, cloud architecture, and production support responsibilities.

Demonstrable experience managing agile delivery, DevOps practices, and full stack development is essential.

EXPERIENCE: Advanced level with 3-5 years relevant development experience
COMMENCEMENT: 01 July 2026
LOCATION: Hybrid: Midrand or Menlyn or Rosslyn or Home Office rotation
TEAM: DevOps - Software Engineering

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum mandatory qualifications:

IT Degree or Diploma advantageous
At least 3-5 years relevant development experience

Essential Skills Requirements

Technical Development:
JavaScript plus JS UI frameworks Angular, NodeJS
Python
Basic AWS S3, QuickSight, Lambda, Glue, IAM
SQL Oracle, Postgres
GitHub
Cloud Architecture
Terraform
Knowledge of webservices Restful
Design and development of Microservices with deep understanding of API based development experience
Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure

Agile and DevOps:

Experience in testing manual or automated testing
Agile working experience advantageous
Participate in all relevant Agile ceremonies
Comply with Code Compliance and Unit Testing standards and practices

Stakeholder Management:

Meet with end users to understand Business requirements
Review and present proposed system solution to Product Owner or Sub-Product Owner

Soft Skills:

Contribute to the refinement and sizing of user stories
Identify risks or impediments and proactively resolve or escalate to the relevant parties
Pro-active knowledge sharing, mentoring, and coaching of members from the same or other teams

Role Requirements

Development and Delivery:
Part of a Dev team responsible for the development and maintenance of the application front-end and back-end
Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements
Provide support for existing solutions DevOps

Technical Documentation:

Prepare system or technical documentation as per ISO standards

Continuous Improvement:

Extensive experience in implementing and monitoring solutions
Participate in all relevant Agile ceremonies
