Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Design, develop, and maintain software using Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, Typescript, Angular 15+, ReactJS, and REST APIs
- Work with middleware technologies (IBM MQ, Solace) and application servers (Tomcat, Liberty, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss)
- Develop and integrate API platforms (especially Apigee)
- Build and run applications on both Windows and Linux environments; use container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Use CI/CD tools (GIT, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Jira) for development and deployment
- Utilize development environments such as Visual Studio, IntelliJ, or Eclipse
- Work with large-scale cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and perform SQL/PLSQL development
- Focus on software testing using tools like Junit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma
- Apply different software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
- Implement test engineering practices and automation frameworks (Selenium with Java)
- Leverage experience in the financial services industry, especially with securities (equities, treasuries, mortgage-backed securities)
- Demonstrate strong knowledge in data warehousing and large-scale data pipelines
