We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Application Platform team in Manchester, on a hybrid basis. You'll be one of the first product engineers on dunnhumby's new continuous-deployment paved road, building a customer-facing analytics product end-to-end and showing the rest of engineering what "production-ready on the platform" looks like.
\Senior-level experience building and running production services in C# / ASP.NET Core and TypeScript / Next.js / React — with working knowledge of the other side and an appetite to grow into both. \Comfortable owning a service on Kubernetes — deployments, probes, autoscaling, NetworkPolicies, RBAC — and debugging real failures from kubectl alone. \Solid working knowledge of Kubernetes operators and CRDs — you understand reconciliation loops, custom resources, and how operator-driven infrastructure differs from imperative provisioning. \Hands-on with at least one of GCP (GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Secret Manager) or Azure (AKS, Azure DB for PostgreSQL, Key Vault), and willing to learn the other. \Clear written communication — RFCs, ADRs, runbooks, PR descriptions other engineers can act on. \Building custom Kubernetes operators with the Operator SDK or Kubebuilder. \Prior experience migrating a product from bundled releases to continuous deployment. \NET services, TypeScript frontend, PostgreSQL, and GitOps deployment
Deliver high‑quality frontend experiences with accessible components and strong data/state management
Maintain high standards across testing (unit, integration, contract) and code quality
Apply strong security practices across backend and frontend systems
