Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Engineer / Developer to join our Financial Services client in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Angular for front-end development and Java/Spring Boot for backend services, with experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.

You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and cross-functional Agile teams to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications while contributing to CI/CD initiatives and cloud-native development practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular 10+
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Strong backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
• Experience with Git version control
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or OpenShift/Kubernetes
• Experience building Microservices-based applications
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, SAML, or enterprise authentication mechanisms
• Experience working within Financial Services organizations

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive enterprise web applications using Angular
• Design, develop, and support backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs for enterprise integrations
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Developers to deliver business solutions
• Write clean, scalable, reusable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices
• Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and production support
• Optimize application performance, security, scalability, and maintainability
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Support CI/CD implementation and deployment automation
• Contribute to modern software architecture and cloud adoption initiatives
