Senior Associate Full Stack Developer
Frontend Development
- Strong experience with Angular or React
- Develops maintainable, modular UI components and integrates with backend APIs
- Solid understanding of:
- State management
- Routing
- Performance optimization
- Error handling
- Familiar with accessibility and usability standards for enterprise applications
- Exposure to Micro Frontends (MFE) is a plus
Backend Development (Core Focus)
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
- Designs and implements production-grade REST APIs aligned with client standards
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, including:
- Service boundaries
- Configuration management
- Inter-service communication
- Error handling and resiliency
- Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems:
- Producers and consumers
- Topic management
- Message versioning awareness
- Applies logging, monitoring, and exception handling suitable for regulated environments
Database & SQL
- Strong SQL skills, including:
- Complex joins
- Subqueries
- Aggregations
- Ability to diagnose and resolve query/data performance issues
Cloud, Platform & DevOps
- Working knowledge of:
- Docker
- OpenShift / Kubernetes concepts
- Understands CI/CD pipelines and can troubleshoot build/deployment issues
- Expected to be platform-aware and self-sufficient (no ownership of platform strategy)
Quality, Security & Compliance
- Writes unit and component tests as part of standard development practice
- Actively participates in code reviews with a quality-first mindset
- Applies secure coding practices and adheres to security standards
Understands audit, compliance, and resiliency expectations in financial services
