We are looking for our client a leading international travel-tech company scaling our engineering hub in Madrid. We’re transforming the travel experience by building innovative, reliable, and scalable software used by millions of travelers worldwide.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer (Java/Kotlin + React) who is highly motivated, collaborative, and passionate about building impactful projects. If you enjoy working across the stack—from frontend to backend and infrastructure—and want to influence architecture, mentor peers, and improve performance at scale, this role is for you.
As a Fullstack Engineer, you will:
Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code in Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, Python , or other modern stacks.
Build frontend web applications, backend services, APIs, and data flows .
Participate in cross-functional Agile teams , from planning to production.
Provide technical mentorship , conduct code reviews, and engage in architectural discussions.
Continuously improve systems for scalability, performance, and resilience .
Collaborate with stakeholders to shape product direction and make architecture decisions .
Required Skills & Tech Stack
We value curiosity, creativity, and a passion for building great products. Experience or interest in the following is a plus:
Strong programming skills in modern languages (Java, Kotlin, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
Experience with frontend frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular
Understanding of backend technologies and RESTful APIs
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, system design)
Passion for clean, maintainable code and modern practices ( CI/CD, TDD, DevOps )
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A drive to learn and improve , both yourself and the systems you build
