Lead Full Stack Engineer - Java, React
Henry Schein One is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer with 7–12 years of experience to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale healthcare technology solutions. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on engineering expertise, and the ability to mentor and guide development teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications.
- Drive technical architecture decisions, engineering standards, and best practices.
- Build and enhance frontend applications using React and backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
- Lead cloud-native development and deployment initiatives on AWS.
- Guide teams on API design, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
- Mentor engineers, conduct technical reviews, and support capability development across teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure application observability, reliability, and performance optimization using tools such as Dynatrace.
- Support integration and reporting initiatives leveraging Pentaho and related technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 7–12 years of experience in full stack software engineering.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, AWS, and relational databases.
- Experience designing scalable microservices and enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, messaging systems, and cloud engineering principles.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and driving end-to-end delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, dental, or regulated domains is preferred.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring frameworks is a plus.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive innovation and delivery excellence.
