For our Lugano Branch we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer Java/React to be part of our team.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Drive the continuous improvement and optimization of existing features, ensuring an exceptional user experience
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and performant code, following best practices and modern development standards
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance issues across the stack
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend systems
• Contribute to a collaborative Agile environment by mentoring peers, sharing knowledge, and supporting team success across an international context

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific field
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in software development within structured and complex environments
• Solid experience in backend development with Java (e.g. Spring / Spring Boot is a plus)
• Strong hands-on experience in frontend development using React.js
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to build intuitive, user-centric interfaces
• Good knowledge of Redux for state management
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g. CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms) is considered a strong plus
• Familiarity with REST APIs, system integration, and full-stack architecture
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken (mandatory)

Location and Work Flexibility

• Please note that this position does not support a fully remote work arrangement
• Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino (Switzerland) or to Italian border areas close to Switzerland
• Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy
