I'm currently working with a fast-growing FinTech company that is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative payment solutions, helping build scalable products used by businesses globally.
You'll join a highly collaborative team, working across the full software development lifecycle, delivering both customer-facing features and backend services using a modern technology stack.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing and shipping user-facing applications using React and TypeScript
- Building and maintaining backend services, microservices, and APIs using Node.js
- Designing and optimising PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases
- Implementing and enhancing GraphQL and REST APIs
- Collaborating with Product, Design, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Mentoring junior developers and contributing to engineering best practices

What skills, experience and qualifications are required:
- Strong commercial experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Experience building scalable web applications and distributed systems
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB
- Experience with AWS and Docker
- Strong understanding of API development, including GraphQL and REST
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- BSc Computer Science
- FinTech experience is advantageous but not essential
