Senior Full Stack Engineer. Fit-Tech SaaS
Location: Remote, United Kingdom
Working hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm
Reporting to: CTO
Hiring: Two permanent positions
Target start: By October 2026, although earlier availability is welcomed
Recann is recruiting on behalf of a confidential fitness and wellbeing technology business that is building the infrastructure behind a new generation of digital consumer experiences.
The fitness and wellbeing sector still relies on fragmented systems for bookings, payments, access control and member data. Our client is creating a unified platform, data model and API that will allow development teams to build integrated products in weeks rather than months.
Following the successful creation of an initial working product, the business is now building the production platform beneath it. This is an opportunity to join at a foundational stage, work directly with the CTO and influence the architecture, engineering standards and developer experience from the outset.
The role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will design, build and scale the platform across both frontend and backend development.
You will take ownership of areas including the TypeScript SDK, REST APIs, frontend architecture, shared components, third-party integrations, testing standards, documentation and release processes.
The environment is remote-first, with occasional in-person collaboration expected for up to one week every few months. Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK, although applicants located in the North or North West would be particularly well placed for team collaboration.
