Synechron is looking for an experienced
Senior
Full Stack Developer to join a well known financial institution to work on a long term prograamme of work within derivatives. If you have a strong background in backend and frontend development, cloud infrastructure, and problem-solving, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python
Build intuitive and responsive frontend interfaces using TypeScript and Reac
Work with AWS components such as EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, KMS, and Secrets Manager using the boto3 Python library
Use Unix CLI for development and deployment tasks
Write spec-driven code in GitHub Copilot, iteratively refining requirements with product managers
Solve complex problems, leveraging a diverse background including maths, physics, or engineering
Experience x10 years years experience
Backend: Python (must be comfortable with pandas and dealing with data-sets of around 100k to 1mm rows)
Front end: TypeScript and Rea
CTAWS components C2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, KMS, and Secrets Manager using the boto3 Python library
Unix CLI for development and deployment tasks
Basic knowledge of OTC interest rate derivatives, including lifecycle events such as novation, option exercise, and settlement
Understanding of initial margin, VaR, E/S, SIMM, and SACCR regulations
This is a long term rolling contract - x3 days as week in London office - Strong market rates inside IR35
