We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join an Agile squad working on enterprise digital banking solutions.
Work setup: Hybrid – Belgium.
Responsibilities:
- Translate business and functional requirements into clean, high-quality code.
- Design, build and maintain reliable, reusable and high-performance applications.
- Develop backend services mainly with Java and Spring Framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile squad members to deliver new features end to end.
- Integrate external data sources and REST APIs.
- Ensure application performance, quality, responsiveness and maintainability.
- Apply clean code, TDD, refactoring and software craftsmanship practices.
- Contribute to DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipeline setup and operational reliability.
Must-have requirements:
- At least 6 years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Framework, Maven and databases.
- Experience with React or frontend development in a full stack environment.
- Proven knowledge of RESTful APIs and Swagger/YAML.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, DDD, design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Practical experience with clean code, refactoring, TDD and API automation testing.
- Proven knowledge of Git and CI/CD principles, with Jenkins or an alternative tool.
- Knowledge of SAST tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, NexusIQ or alternatives.
- Knowledge of Docker, containers and Groovy.
- Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in English.
