We are looking for engineers who enjoy building across the stack and helping teams ship reliable software as systems grow more complex.
Role OverviewAs a Full-Stack Engineer on the Applied Engineering team, you will help deliver features across frontend, backend, and integration layers as our products expand across web, embedded, mobile, and desktop environments.
This role is ideal for engineers who are comfortable moving across boundaries, debugging issues that span multiple layers, and supporting systems running in real operational environments.
You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to ensure features are cohesive, reliable, and ready for deployment in secure environments.
What You’ll DoBuild and deliver product features end-to-end across frontend and backend systems
Support integration between frontend apps, backend APIs, and shared services
Collaborate with UI/UX, product, and engineering partners to ship usable and reliable features
Adapt services and interfaces as new product surfaces and workflows are introduced
Debug issues across application layers including UI, APIs, and services
Improve system reliability, performance, and maintainability as products scale
Participate in on-call rotations and support deployed systems in secure environments
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance
Experience delivering production features across frontend and backend systems
Strong understanding of modern web application development
Experience working with APIs, data models, and service integration
Experience debugging across multiple layers of a system
Experience supporting software in operational or constrained environments
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building products across multiple UI surfaces (web, desktop, mobile, or embedded)
Background in defense, government, or mission-critical domains
Experience working with AI-driven or data-intensive systems
Experience in startup or high-growth environments
Experience building shared component libraries or design systems
Technology Stack
Frontend: Solid.js or React, TypeScript
Backend: Python, Go
APIs: REST, gRPC
Data: PostgreSQL, caching and message queue architectures
Observability: Logging, metrics, tracing (OpenTelemetry)
Security: Authentication and authorization best practices
Deployment: TS/SCI, IL-7, and on-prem environments
