Sr. Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong hands-on Java development expertise and secondary Python experience. This is primarily a backend/application development role, with approximately 90% of the work focused on backend engineering. Extensive UI development experience is not required.
The ideal candidate is a strong Java engineer with expertise in Spring Boot, API development, code reviews, engineering automation, and modern AI-assisted software development practices.
Candidates should have practical experience using AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar platforms as part of their day-to-day development workflow. Experience with Agentic AI and AI-driven development workflows is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise Java applications and backend services.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Participate actively in code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, security, and best practices.
- Apply modern software engineering practices to improve development productivity and automation.
- Incorporate AI-assisted coding tools into daily development workflows.
- Explore and implement AI-driven and Agentic AI development approaches where appropriate.
- Develop automation scripts and supporting applications using Python.
- Troubleshoot complex application and production issues.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to technical design, architecture discussions, and engineering standards.
- Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Support continuous improvement of development processes and engineering automation.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and REST/API development.
- Solid experience in backend/application development and enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and coding best practices.
- Experience conducting and participating in code reviews.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted coding and developer productivity tools, such as:
- Claude Code
- GitHub Copilot
- Cursor
- Similar AI-powered development tools
- Experience with Python for scripting, automation, or application development.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
