Our client is a fast-growing legal-tech company revolutionizing the industry with an innovative AI-powered Legal Intelligence Platform. Trusted by some of the world's fastest-growing enterprise companies, they help in-house legal teams accelerate negotiations, reduce risk, and unlock institutional knowledge through automated workflows.
We are currently recruiting on their behalf for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to build intelligent backend infrastructure and exceptional user experiences that power their platform.
About The Job
In this role, you will work directly with LLMs, design scalable systems, and ship production AI features that transform how legal teams operate worldwide. If you love owning features end-to-end and moving fast in a high-velocity environment, this is a prime opportunity for you.
What You'll Do
- Own features end-to-end, from design through deployment across the full stack.
- Build scalable backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, Postgres, MongoDB).
- Create responsive, performant frontend experiences with React.js.
- Develop integrations with enterprise platforms like Salesforce, Google Drive, SharePoint, and DocuSign.
- Work hands-on with LLMs and build the connecting logic between AI capabilities and business systems.
- Partner with ML engineers, AI researchers, and domain experts to deliver impactful solutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help establish engineering best practices as the platform scales.
What You'll Bring
- Passion to own and deliver: You take full responsibility for your work and drive features from idea to production.
- AI-first mindset: Active adoption of AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) and enthusiasm for how AI transforms software development.
- 6+ years of professional experience building production systems across frontend and backend.
- Strong backend skills with Python and modern frameworks.
- Experience with React.js and building complex, performant UIs.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and thrive in unfamiliar domains.
- Strong communication skills, effective in a fast-paced startup environment.
Bonus Points
- Experience building LLM-powered applications or working with AI APIs.
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and cloud-native architectures.
- Prior experience as a startup founder or early-stage startup engineer.
