Corporate: Engage in a deep variety of business-critical activities that keep our company running efficiently. From strategic marketing and financial management to human resources and operational oversight, you’ll have the opportunity to optimize processes and implement game-changing policies.
Responsibilities
Position Purpose: You’ll build the interactive, AI-augmented interfaces that bring the Risk & AI Vertical’s risk intelligence to life. This is where clients explore their budgets, financial and physical positions, run scenarios, and act on hedge recommendations from the Strategy Builder and KnowRisk — so your work turns dense, personalized risk data into intuitive visual experiences across every Nexus surface (web + mobile).
The role is frontend-led, with some backend work to help shape and consume the APIs and data feeds behind the UI. You’ll partner closely with the Intelligent Risk team (risk modelling) and the Intelligence Weaving team (embeddable widgets and personalization), along with product, design and QA, and you’ll have real ownership over the quality and direction of the risk front-end.
Technical Ecosystem
Frontend: TypeScript, React; component-driven design systems; responsive web + mobile
Visualization: reusable React charting library & embedded chart components; interactive, real-time charts with drill-downs and custom commodity-specific chart types
Backend (you’ll touch): C#, .NET Core; REST and streaming APIs
Tooling: GitHub, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio / Rider, modern frontend build tooling
AI Tools: GitHub Copilot, MS Copilot, Anthropic Claude (incl. Claude Code), ChatGPT; AI-augmented UI generation and AI-assisted development
Primary Duties Will Include
Build interactive user risk-modelling interfaces — scenario inputs, position & budget views, and hedge-recommendation screens (Strategy Builder, KnowRisk) — that make complex risk intuitive and actionable.
Design and build data & risk visualizations: interactive, real-time charts with drill-downs and custom commodity-specific chart types, using a reusable React charting library.
Develop AI-augmented UI — surface AI-personalized insights and recommendations in the interface, and use AI tooling to accelerate design-to-code.
Build embeddable intelligence widgets that the Intelligence Weaving team composes across other Nexus domains, personalized to each user’s context, portfolio and permissions.
Take on some backend work — help shape and consume the APIs, streams and data feeds that power the UI, in partnership with the backend and data teams.
Ensure performance, responsiveness and accessibility across web and mobile.
Participate in code reviews, design sessions and agile ceremonies; contribute to and grow the shared component library.
Collaborate closely with product, design, QA, and the Data & Analytics visualization team.
Qualifications
To Land this role you will need
3+ years of frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
A strong eye for UI/UX and data visualization, with hands-on experience building interactive charts or dashboards (e.g. D3, a charting library, or trading / market-data charts).
Some backend experience — comfortable working with C# / .NET (or similar) and building or consuming REST and streaming APIs.
Proven ability to turn complex or real-time data into clear, performant interfaces.
Solid understanding of component-driven architecture, design systems, and reusable component libraries.
Familiarity with responsive design, cross-browser support, and accessibility best practices.
Strong collaboration and communication skills; fluent in English (spoken and written).
A growth mindset and a real interest in AI-augmented design and development.
What makes you stand out:
Experience with financial markets, trading, risk, or commodities — or a strong desire to learn.
