About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our team. The candidate will have the mission of bringing his expertise and contribution in the rapid growth of one of our current star products. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining both the front-end and back-end of our web applications, while working in a very tight group of collaborators in a growth hacking mode, constantly integrating new cutting edge AI technologies in the context of a high volume traffic web application.
This role requires a strong understanding of the entire development process, including design, development, and deployment, and a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products.
What the ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Availability to work with North American hours
- Strong experience in building user interfaces and backend services using Typescript/React/Next.js.
- Deep understanding of TypeScript, typing patterns, interfaces, generics, and strict type safety.
- Experience building REST APIs and/or Route Handlers / Server Actions in Next.js.
- Experience building React based frontend component with Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or other styling systems.
- Thorough understanding of PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization).
- Experience with third-party API integrations (webhooks, auth etc.).
- Experience deploying Next.js apps on Vercel, AWS, or other cloud providers.
- Familiarity with logging/monitoring tools (Sentry, Datadog, CloudWatch).
- Understanding of version control systems, such as Git.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Strong sense of ownership and urgency, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, polished products.
- Proven ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Creative and analytical mindset for tackling complex technical challenges and driving innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications from end-to-end.
- Implement user interface and user experience (UI/UX) designs using front-end technologies.
- Develop and manage back-end services and APIs (Application Programming Interfaces).
- Integrate front-end components with back-end logic.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
- Perform testing and debugging to ensure high performance and responsiveness of the application.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver new features.
- Maintain code integrity and organization, and participate in code reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry best practices.
