Position Overview
Must Have:
5+ years of professional Full Stack Engineering experience
Strong experience with:
Python
Spark SQL / PySpark
Azure & Databricks
Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems design
Strong API development and SQL integration experience
Some experience with Java (application is transitioning; ability to flex between Python and Java)
Proven ability to work independently, demonstrate curiosity, and take ownership
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to interview in person in Dallas, TX and work onsite Fridays
Nice to Have:
Google Cloud GCP
Proficiency in Java coding

Description:
Seeking a Full Stack Engineer to support an enterprise-wide modernization program within the Analytics & Behavioral Change organization at a large healthcare company. This is a builder role focused on execution, where engineers will work from an established roadmap and independently deliver against assigned development work.
Day to day work will be mainly hands-on coding, sprint planning, and grooming. The team operates in an agile manner working in squads comprised of two data engineers, two full stack engineers, and two captains responsible for gathering and translating requirements. They value go-getter personalities that are inquisitive, motivated and willing to take a high level of ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands on coding to build and modernize the application
Participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions
Develop and integrate APIs using SQL and backend services
Execute against assigned user stories, owning delivery from development through testing
Operate within sprint cycles, participating in sprint planning and grooming sessions (3 weeks development, 1 week testing)
Deliver high-quality, scalable solutions based on defined requirements
