About the Role:
We're looking for a Fullstack Engineering Intern to join the team building SmartSense, our multi service Industrial IoT platform. You'll work alongside engineers across Frontend, Backend, Data Science, and DevOps, gettinghands-onexposureto a production-grade system handling real-time telemetry,alerting, and AI-native features. This is a strong fitfor someone who wants to learn fast, build real things, and work close to the metal on a live product rather than a toy project.
What You'll Work On:
- Building and shipping features across the frontendand backend of SmartSense
- Working with our microservices stack (APIs, data pipelines, alerting engine)
- Contributing toRAG-based and LLM-powered features as we build outAI-native capabilities
- Working with structured (Postgres) and vector data stores
- Collaborating with QA, DevOps, and product to take features from idea to production
- Participating incode reviews, sprint planning, and daily engineering discussions
Must-Haves:
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and OOP concepts
- A builder's mindset:comfortable figuringthings out, shipping, anditerating ratherthanwaitingfor perfect specs
- Proficiency in at least one of: Java,Python, JavaScript/TypeScript,orGo
- Familiarity with atleast onebackendframework (Spring Boot,FastAPI,Express, Gin, or similar)
- Exposureto relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with React or Angular for frontendwork
- Basic understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows
- Good communication skills and ability towork in a fast-paced team environment
Good to Have:
- Exposureto RAG (Retrieval-AugmentedGeneration) pipelines or LLM-based application development
- Familiarity with vector databases (e.g. Milvus, Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector)
- Hands-onexperience with anycloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Understandingof REST API designandmicroservices architecture
- Exposureto message queues/streaming systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) andbasic CI/CD concepts
- Prior personal projects, open-source contributions, or hackathon experience
