We're seeking a strategic full stack expert with proven expertise in Java, SAP, and cloud development with strong stakeholder management and Dev Ops skills.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on understanding of end‑to‑end trip and test data processes, production support responsibilities, and agile delivery across global teams. Demonstrable experience managing complex software solutions, technical leadership, and strategic product direction is essential.

Strong Agile and Dev Ops mindset with ability to lead development and manage international test systems is critical.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the global Test Drive and Data product, building and managing all trip planning, execution, and results delivery processes for the global Group. Guide mission‑critical vehicle testing operations, defining product scope, managing cross‑country systems, and delivering transformational value. Coordinate end‑to‑end test drive process across hybrid and remote working environments. Position Details

Location: Hybrid: Midrand or Home Office rotation

Experience making release or rework decisions based on evaluation of developed product scope and defined criteria. Technical Leadership Technical leadership skills to guide feature teams and support technical quality, acting as first point of contact for product owners and operations teams. Hands‑on experience with Java, SAP, Azure, cloud development and operations. Agile and Dev Ops Strong Agile and Dev Ops mindset with hands‑on experience supporting agile working models and improving team efficiency. Experience supporting operational stability, maintenance, and continuous improvement of software or IT solutions in production. Stakeholder Management Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to collaborate with business and IT product owners globally. Soft Skills Strategic thinking and vision. Experience supporting cross‑country product activity (ZA, UK, MX, DE, CN). Knowledge of Dev Ops product management. German language skills (speak, read, write). Role Requirements Product Scope Management Manage a clearly defined product scope including development, operation, and continuous improvement of test drive software solutions. Continuously prioritize and maintain the product backlog aligned with customer requirements, market trends, and organisational goals. Ensure backlog items are well‑defined with clear acceptance criteria and a definition of done. Resource and Team Management Distribute resources across feature teams to maximize customer value and meet strategic objectives. Monitor team progress, ensure timely completion of user stories, and elevate product risks as needed. Technical Leadership Guide and support technical teams, serving as the technical point of contact for Product Owners and Line Managers. Operational Stability Support operational stability, troubleshoot, and optimize processes to maintain production quality. Strategic Collaboration Collaborate with Group business and IT Product Owners and cross‑country colleagues to align product direction. Process and Continuous Improvement Support internal change processes and further develop IT‑relevant processes and agile working models.
