Sr. Full Stack Java Developer (Java/React) – Security & GenAI Focus
We're hiring for a Sr. Application Developer supporting ADP's Insurance Services scrum teams. This is a 50/50 front-end/back-end role — you'll rotate across teams based on need (Java integrations, React front ends, etc.), so versatility matters more than depth in just one stack.
Top priorities for this role:
Security-first mindset — this is a security-heavy codebase; experience identifying and hardening against vulnerabilities is key
GenAI-assisted development — team uses GitHub Copilot primarily, some Claude; Amazon Q or Kiro experience also welcome
Full-stack flexibility — Java/Spring Boot on the back end, Angular/React on the front end
Must-haves:
- B.S. in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience
- Java/JEE, Spring & Spring Boot
- Oracle / PL-SQL, JPA/Hibernate or Spring Repositories
- RESTful APIs & Web Services (requirements-driving experience)
- HTML5/CSS3, automated testing, Git, Jenkins/CI
- Agile tools (Rally/JIRA/RTC)
- Hands-on experience integrating AI dev tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.) to speed delivery, generate tests, and improve code review — plus the ability to critically refactor/harden AI-generated code for security & performance
Nice-to-haves:
- Security & performance tuning experience
- Bootstrap or other CSS frameworks
Process: Video screening required, followed by a final onsite interview.
