Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for a Full Stack Java Developer located in Cambridge, ON. In this role, the developer will design and implement scalable, high-performance software applications by contributing to both front-end and back-end development. Responsibilities include coding, debugging, and maintaining software applications, ensuring integration and responsiveness across platforms, and collaborating with other team members to meet project objectives and deadlines. The role requires a problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to evolving project needs.
Qualifications
- Experience in Full-Stack Development, including Back-End Web Development and Front-End Development
- Proficiency in Software Development principles and coding best practices
- Strong knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and responsive design
- Problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a team
- Proven experience with Java-based frameworks and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
