Job Description
We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our Global Financial Crimes technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in full-stack Java development and Angular and a proven ability to design, build, and optimize data-intensive, distributed applications that meet defined acceptance criteria.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications in the Global Financial Crimes environment.
* Collaborate with business partners to define requirements and validate acceptance criteria.
* Write clean, testable code and perform unit, integration, and performance testing.
* Debug complex issues and document designs, code changes, and operational procedures.
* Partner with multiple technology teams to implement target architecture and migrate to strategic platforms.
* Contribute as an individual contributor within an Agile delivery model.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* 8-10 years of full-stack experience in end-to-end Java application development.
* 4+ years of hands-on Angular development.
* Strong Core Java skills including multithreading, Collections API, JDBC, and use of Java profiling tools.
* Experience tuning performance for data-intensive applications.
* Proficient coding, debugging, and analytical abilities.
* Experience delivering software using Agile methodologies and processes.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
* BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
Preferred Skills:
* Background in enterprise stress testing.
* Experience with Elastic, Hadoop, Teradata, or other big data distributed ecosystems.
* Knowledge of cloud or distributed computing.
* Creative problem solver with a record of implementing innovative technology solutions.
