Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to support mortgage decisioning platforms used throughout the loan lifecycle. This role focuses primarily on backend service development while also contributing to front-end application enhancements. The ideal candidate is a collaborative engineer with strong Java expertise, financial services experience, and the ability to own work from development through testing and deployment.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications supporting mortgage decisioning platforms.
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
Build and maintain full-stack applications utilizing Angular (preferred) or React.
Develop integrations using XML, JSON, and messaging technologies.
Participate in testing, automation, code reviews, deployment, and production support.
Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adopt AI-enabled engineering practices as appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of professional software development experience (4+ years preferred).
Strong experience with:
- Java
- Spring Boot
- REST Services
- API Development
- XML
- JSON
Full stack development experience.
Experience with Angular (preferred) or React.
Understanding of object-oriented design and distributed application development.
Experience working throughout the entire SDLC, including testing and automation.
